I've noticed a lot of grid patterns reoccurring in fashion and design these past months. And I find myself  really inspired and attracted to the idea of geometric/architectural shapes in fashion and design...Also food styling! - Something about the minimalism and stark sleekness is very appealing, futiristic and eye catching.  

Creatures of Comfort Fall 2013 RTW

I really like this collection by Creatures of Comfort. The collection was said to be inspired by the late Louise Bourgeois. The cage-like grid patterns on boxy coats and shifts, was to give a sense of entrapment. I like the shapes in the collection, there is a nice variety of textures and layering. I personally gravitate towards these types of silhouettes, i like the simplicity of it all. The oversized knit cap is so cute! - it reminded me of Bourgeois in this photo!
